La ricerca tecnica di cromie ed effetti sempre più aderenti al mio modo di percepire la materia mi ha condotto negli anni a sperimentare ed approfondire molte forme di espressione artistica, la lavorazione dell'argilla è una di queste che otre ad essere plasmabile nella forma con successive cotture da la possibilità di elaborare colori materici molto preziosi.
Il
Raku è una antica tecnica giapponese, poi rivisitata dagli anni 60 in poi in America, che si basa su più cotture dei manufatti smaltati con ossidi e pigmenti e sottoposti a diversi sbalzi termici che permettono la gestione di particolari effetti materici e metallici.
Le superfici consumate e scurite dalla riduzione di ossigeno e le ossidazioni degli ossidi minerali si avvicinano alla ruggine generando suggestioni infinite.
I materiali resistenti alle intemperie si prestano a opere che possono stare anche all'esterno in giardini, terrazzi e cortili.
